According to the child's family, Vivek was addicted to playing the Free Fire game. On Wednesday, he was alone at home and was continuously playing the game. According to Vivek's sister, when she went into the room, her brother Vivek was lying on the bed, playing the Free Fire game on his mobile phone.

According to doctors, this is believed to be a case of sudden death, in which a gamer dies suddenly while playing a game on a mobile or computer. Let us now explain what sudden gamer death is and how it occurs.  

What is Sudden Gamer Death?

According to doctors, sudden gamer death is a condition that occurs suddenly while playing games on a mobile phone or computer. It involves neither injury nor physical conflict. Research by the US National Institutes of Health has revealed 24 such cases worldwide where people have died while playing games continuously. One of these deaths occurred in 1982, and the remaining 23 occurred between 2002 and 2021. Most of the victims of sudden gamer death were men, ranging in age from 11 to 40, and most of the cases were from Southeast Asian countries.

According to research, many people spend hours sitting in one place without moving while gaming. This increases blood pressure and heart rate, which puts pressure on the body. Many people believe that taking short breaks makes a difference, but this isn't true. Even short breaks don't make much difference.
