Love Is Blind UK star says 'I feel sick' as fiancé's awkward question derails romance

A Love Is Blind UK star breaks down in tears as they admit to feeling "sick" after hearing one question from their partner.

Love Is Blind UK returned to screens last week (August 13) with 30 new singles entering their "pods" in the hopes of finding their life partner. But only five couples decided to take their relationship to the next stage and become engaged.

Today (August 20), the next batch of episodes have been released on Netflix as fans witness the couples moving in together to plan their wedding. The couples are Ashleigh and Billy, Bardha and Jed, Megan and Kieran, Sarover and Kal and Javen and Katisha, but will their emotional connection stay strong?

But one fan favourite in particular is facing hardship as one question seemingly derails their romance. Cabin crew manager Ashleigh and armed forces instructor Billy hit it off straight away in the pods, even admitting their love for one another.

However, after "checking in" this week, Billy admitted a heart-breaking truth. He told Ashleigh: "I've always been honest to you from the start. I don't want to lead you astray.

"Part of me is saying we need to jump in with a little bit of risk. I need to be realist about it and I am torn down the middle."

Ashleigh replied: "I'm not gonna lie, like I feel really sick, my heart feels like it's in my mouth right now. I wasn't really expecting you to say like it was 50/50. I think it's just a shock."

Admitting the doubts stem from their differing jobs and life schedules, Ashleigh said: "I love you so much and I see a future with us, I see it working with us. I see the first six months being b*****y hard.

"I'm willing to try and get as many weekend off as I can with you. I'm ready to settle down, I'm ready to marry, to have a family now and I think we cemented that pretty much in the pods."

However, for Billy, the doubts remain as he later asked: "Are you just going to jump into this regardless then because it could be a no from you as well?"

Ashleigh responded: "I'm so yes right now Billy, I'm so yes. I know we've got more of the experiment to live and breathe, I flipping love you. I want to do this."

Breaking down in tears, the cabin crew manager said her "chest hurts" as she told the cameras: "I'm ready to be good enough for Billy, I thought I was good enough for billy and it frustrates me my job again is getting in the way."

It comes after the couple confessed their love and met each other's family. But this week, fans saw the two appear to be conflicted over certain aspects of their lives, including their jobs and food restrictions.
