Amazon has released a string of offers on its own-brand tech devices for a limited time only. Shoppers who are fans of the Echo Dot can save £20 on the newest version of the popular home assistant and speaker - usually £54.99, it has been reduced to £34.99 in a flash deal.
The Echo Dot (Newest gen) Wifi and Bluetooth device can be used as a speaker for music, audiobooks, and podcasts - it's compatible with Amazon Music, Audible, Apple Music and Spotify. Alexa can also give users updates on weather and traffic, set reminders and timers, as well as create shopping lists.
The voice-controlled home assistant can also be paired with a Fire TV, and other Echo devices. Other highlights include a 'Microphone Off' button that electronically disconnects the microphones.

Although Amazon's Echo Dot is the most popular home assistant of its kind, there are alternatives on the market. For instance, Apple's HomePod Mini Smart Speaker is £94. Built with Siri, it can give users traffic and weather updates, set reminders, and listen to music and podcasts.
Another alternative is the Sonos Era 100 Smart Speaker (£179). Compatible with iPhones and iPads, the voice-controlled device is designed specifically for audio content such as music, audiobooks and podcasts.
The Echo Dot has more than 44,000 customer reviews. One shopper said: "This is a fabulous device. It was easy to install and well worth the money. Its sound is clear and precise, and it has many features. I would highly recommend this product."
Another buyer added: "Bought it as a Bluetooth speaker and for internet radio, which it does well and easily. Sound is good after adjusting bass, middle and treble to taste.
"Surprisingly loud for a small speaker." They also noted some tech difficulties, adding: "No idea about the smart side, as I don't use it. Just have to learn not to shout at it, talking works fine."
An additional customer highlighted sound issues, saying: "Seriously lacking in bass. Was expecting more. Doesn't sound any better than the original Dot I have."
A fourth Amazon buyer said: "I absolutely love this product. Easy to set up on the Alexa app.
"It doesn't pair with my wireless speaker. Great volume and listening to Spotify on it is just the best. It is so good, I even bought my mum one."
A final buyer bought the device to replace a previous model, writing: "This Generation 4 Dot allows me to do much more than the old Dot 1. It is also more pleasing to look at as it is round and comes in a choice of colours. Not a bad price either."
Amazon also does Echo Dot Kids models. The newest generation of the device includes one year of age-appropriate Amazon Kids+ content, and is on sale for a limited time for £39.99, down from £64.99.
