The pair havereportedly split after nearly two decades together, with Keith said to have moved on already with another woman. The couple had been living separate lives for the past few years, it has been claimed, but Nicole is still said to be blindsidedby the end of their relationship and was convinced they could save their marriage.
"Keith has not been honest. She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he's already moved on. It's devastating to her. She's shocked," a source told People.

The split is said to be "turning dramatic" and that Nicole has been left feeling "hurt and betrayed" amid their separation.
Nicole has since filed for divorce, with one lawyer suggesting that is her way of keeping control of the situation. Speaking about the future, divorce lawyer Sophie Jacobi-Parisi explained: "She's found a legal team, which is great, and she's taking the step to say, 'I heard, the news is out, and I'm taking affirmative action to protect myself.'
"It's gonna be very hard for her because…he's ready. He's apparently moved on, right? In his mind, he might even know what houses he wants to keep, and how he wants to see the children, and like, what they're gonna do with their money, because he's been sort of plotting this in his brain for a while."
"It makes it really hard, because when one person has planned this and thought this through, they're ready to go. Let's just go," she added to The US Sun about Nicole's likely next steps.
Keith is said to have already moved on with a mystery woman. A source in Keith's "inner circle" claims that Keith is "already involved with a new woman." Insiders added to TMZ: "All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Let's just say, Nicole doesn't dispute that, but she's still shocked over it. It's all over Nashville."
Just hours before the announcement of a divorce between the pair, Keith changed the Nicole-inspired lyric in one of his tracks to the name of his new female guitarist.
"When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player," he sang. The original line featured the lyrics: "When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter."
Fans were divided about his decision to change the lyric, with one writing: "Wow, that song was made for Nicole. For him to do that tells us what he’s really all about. That’s just disgusting."
Another gave their opinion, adding: "I think he really loves having you on stage with him, Maggie. Keith recognizes talent when he sees and hears it." A third shared: "Nobody knows what happened between Keith and Nicole… Leave it alone."
