Manchester Unitedlegend Wayne Rooney has claimed Ruben Amorim "has no excuses" this season and admitted the team's poor start to the season is "a worry".
United have started the season with a 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal before drawing 1-1 away at Fulham as their wait for a first win goes on.
The club have spent almost £200million on new signings this summer, with three high profile forwards arriving in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko, but the team still look far away from firing on all cylinders under Amorim.
There was concern against Fulham after United failed to dominate the game and hurt Fulham, having also missed a penalty in the first half.
Rooney is worried for his former club and believes Amorim is under pressure to pick up results "quickly" after a poor start, believing he won't get the same leniency he had last season.

"There’s no excuses now for the manager this season," he said on the Wayne Rooney Show. "He’s got to start getting results and getting them quickly.
"Once you start getting into October or November, if results don’t change drastically that’s when the pressure comes. They needed to hit the ground running this season and one point from six is a bit of a worry."
When asked if Amorim could be backed as a long-term manager for United, Rooney replied: "It’s difficult to sit here and say ‘Yeah 100 per cent’. I don’t think anyone could do that.
“I don’t think Ruben would probably say that himself with what we’ve seen since he’s been at the club. I think recruitment has been good in the summer – although I’d still like to see two or three more players. But it’s difficult to say this is going to be our manager for the next five years based on what we’ve seen.”
Rooney said one of the biggest concerns was that old habits from last season were starting to appear in this campaign, adding: "[Amorim] had the pre-season and brought players in, you’d like to have seen a bit more and see the players understand their roles a bit better. There’s a lot to be worked on."
The ex-England striker played 559 times for United and scored 253 goals, winning five Premier League titles, four domestic trophies and two European cups.
United have some big games coming up to show they can push on under Amorim, starting with a trip to Grimsby in the Carabao Cup - where elimination is unthinkable.
They then welcome Burnley to Old Trafford for a must-win clash next week before facing Manchester City and Chelsea after the international break.
