Bengaluru Doctor Arrested After 22-Year-Old Woman Alleges Inappropriate Conduct During Consultation

A 56-year-old dermatologist in Bengaluru has been arrested after a 22-year-old woman accused him of inappropriate behavior during a medical consultation. The woman, who had visited the doctor for treatment, alleged that he acted indecently under the guise of conducting a medical examination.

According to police officials, the woman had gone to the private clinic with her father. While her father waited outside, the doctor allegedly behaved in an unprofessional and objectionable manner, making the woman uncomfortable. She later narrated the incident to her family.

Disturbed by the account, her family and neighbors confronted the doctor at the clinic before approaching the police. Based on the woman’s complaint, authorities registered a case and arrested the accused, who has since been sent to judicial custody.

The investigation is ongoing. The doctor has denied the allegations, stating that his actions were part of a routine medical procedure.
