Mumbai: Actress Swara Bhasker has once again raised eyebrows with her bold statement about sexuality.
In a recent interview with Screen, Swara, who currently features on the reality show ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’ with her husband, politician Fahad Ahmad, said that we are all ‘bisexual.’
“We are all bisexual. If you leave people to themselves, we are actually bisexuals, but heterosexuality is an ideology that has been (put in us) culturally for thousands of years. Because that is how the human race will perpetuate, so it has to be the norm,” she said.
When the host asked Swara about her crush, she cheekily replied, it is Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav.
She quickly added that her recent comment on sexual orientation has put her husband’s political career at stake in Maharashtra and even in Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier this year, Swara had wished Dimple on her birthday.
Warm and heartfelt birthday wishes to the ever graceful and wonderful @dimpleyadav ji! Have a great year ahead 🙏🏽💜✨ pic.twitter.com/U0Ix08eHz1

Few days ago, Swara was in news for calling out a troll who targeted her husband using casteist slur.
Sharing the screenshots of the post, Swara wrote, “This twit who describes himself both as a proud Hindu and Ambedkarite does not seem to know that Chhapri is a casteist slang.. a derogatory term used to describe a community that fixes ‘chappars’ or thatched huts. Also nothing wrong with being a street vendor from Dongri or anywhere you casteist / classist trash-brain! #casteistAlert.”
