Members of the public are bracing themselves for the state visit of President of the United States, Donald Trump.
The 47th POTUS arrived in the UK yesterday (September 16) and will depart on Wednesday, September 18.
Some may be thankful the visit is so fleeting as some recalled the meeting between President Trump and Queen Elizabeth II on his previous trip to the UK.
A "frenzy" was made when Trump and the Queen took a walk together, with the POTUS walking ahead of the longest-serving royal and obscuring her from the cameras.
The moment caused outrage at the time and, years later, members of the public are still infuriated by the incident. Some even fear the US President will do the same rude act when he meets British officials.
A post to the r/Pics Reddit page saw fans discuss how rude it was of President Trump to walk ahead of the Queen and obscure her from view.
One person wrote: "This is just a great depiction of who Donald Trump is. He cares only for himself." Another accused: "Rude and vulgar, the stereotypical bully."
A third shared: "It's like he always purposely does exactly the wrong thing."
Even beyond the status of the pair, some suggested that, on a human level, Trump should have let the Queen of England walk ahead.
One person suggested: "Just forget who they are for a moment: How about as a human being you just be mindful of the older lady and let her pass ahead of you safely."
Another agreed, adding: "No matter your political associations, one needs to admit the guy has no manners." And a third wrote: "He's weird. Would you go visit an leder and then cut in front of them? Not in my family. Have some manners, man!"
Others suggested Trump was marking an act of protest in not walking side by side with the Queen. One user suggested: "As an American official, protocol is to walk side by side, since no King or Queen is above us.
"The Irish like to put their hands in their pockets when royalty or a British official is around. It's a protest to monarchy and a rememberence to Irish independence."
This theory was put into doubt by other users, with one suggesting Trump was merely an "oaf walking past and cutting off an at-the-time 92-year-old woman".
Craig Brown, in his biography, A Voyage Around The Queen, claimed the late monarch disliked President Trump, and described him as "very rude".
She is said to have "particularly disliked" the way he "couldn't stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting".
Trump's state visit this week will see him meet with the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles III.
