A different take on how the H-1B fueled Indians running the US tech coming from an influencer, who is also known as a scammer, has gone viral as he claimed that US will come down if President Donald Trump bans the Indian IT. Gainzy, the crypto influencer, who is not an American, dropped his take on the ongoing talks over Trump tariffing or banning Indian IT.
The influencer said everything will break if Indian IT people are banned. Though AI can cover a lot, AI can't cover what Indians do, the person said. "Anyone who worked in IT is familiar with the IT Indian juggernaut. In every large company, there's one Indian man taking the job of 50. And he's not taking the job of 50 Indians. He's taking the job of 50 Americans. There's always this one IT gigabrain that knows everything, works 18 hours a day, solves every problem, knows all of your infrastructure, never complains, always helps everyone, is always happy, is on H-1B visa...and that company's greatest fear is losing him because once they lose him, everything breaks," the influencer said adding that the functioning of the company will stop at least for two to three weeks if they ban Indians.
Ten Americans will be needed to replace one Indian in IT, the influencer said, explaining that it will take more money. "They know more and they work for less," Gainzy said.
Indians are the hardest working, Gainzy said, adding that he knows Indian restaurants in Thailand which get no customers but they are not discouraged at all. They open their shop every day, hollering on the street, asking people to try Indian food. Gainzy said he does not eat carbs and sugar but went to an Indian restaurant and tried kebab just because of the sheer perseverance of the Indians.
"There's a reason they (Indians) go higher. It's not a mistake," Gainzy said.
Many claimed that the influencer was just trying to reach South Asian subscribers and Indians are nothing but cheap labor. Indians responded, saying someone finally was speaking in favor of them
